Abstract: This deliverable reports on Tasks 2.1 and 2.2. Task 2.1 used a form of cognitive task analysis to elicit information about the knowledge, thought processes and goal structures that underlie observable task performance in project management. Ultimately, the goal was to generate information that could be used to inform the design of the TARGET serious game. The original aim of Task 2.2 was to apply cognitive task analysis to mentoring in a similar manner to Task 2.1. Task 2.2 was re-purposed as a requirements gathering exercise for the artificial mentor on the grounds that requirements elicitation was more likely to yield information useful for guiding the design of the artificial mentor. The results from Task 2.1 will serve as input to T1.4, T6.1 and Task 7.1, while the results from Task 2.2 will serve as input into Tasks 6.1 and 6.3
