Members of the TARGET-EEU extension to the TARGET project met on 13 and 14 January 2011 in Wroclaw (Poland) to make progress on the details of the latest game scenario for TARGET, “Sustainable Global Manufacturing”. Scientists from BIBA (Bremen Institute for Production and Logistics, Germany) and POLIMI (Polytecnico di Milano, Italy) met at the Lean Enterprise Institute Poland to develop details of one of TARGET’s new game scenarios dealing with sustainable manufacturing.

The two main competences to be developed by this scenario concern the ability to apply an LCA (Life Cycle Analysis) and the ability to think and act in a systemic (holistic) way.
