The Computer Aided Language Learning - Reading Practice project has adopted the TARGET Serious Game component. This is a collaborative project between Portuguese three research partners (two universities and one research institute) and Carnegie Mellon University in the USA. The aim of the project is to develop a tutoring system for teaching the Portuguese langugage for either native or foreign speakers through the execution of actions within a particular context. The TARGET Serious Game provides the situated context upon which the REAP tutoring system is built upon. A paper of the first stage of the work was presented at the SGDA conference held in Lisbon on the 19th September. For more details click here |
