Abstract: This deliverable documents the story building framework as the result of Task 11.1 "Story Building Framework" which is a formal method where the different steps are clearly defined in terms of the necessary building blocks for the creation of any story, namely the definition of the learning outcomes, the associated competences with the performance indicators, the narrative building blocks, game-specific models, and additional game mechanics that are missing. This framework has been developed to support the development process for stories to be deployed on the TARGET platform. The framework consists of the following building blocks:
• A methodology (process) guiding story developers through the various steps.
• A set of models to be developed. Each model has an underlying syntax to be applied.
• An estimation method for assessing costs and time in terms of resources to create a story.
• A set of pre-defined models which serve as a starting point for each of the models to be
developed.
Each of these building blocks are introduced and explained in detail supported by illustrative examples. This report D11.1 serves as the basis for the content development of scenarios concerning stakeholder management, social architect, and global sustainable manufacturing to be documented in deliverables D11.2, D11.3, and D11.4 respectively
