 The Lounge is an inviting virtual social space where learners may interact with one another, discussing over their experiences of Stories and use the facilities to hold virtual meetings.The Lounge links to the Knowledge Ecosystem Navigator (KEN), which is the component responsible for the visual navigation of the Stories and associated experiences. The learner activates the KEN by pressing the semi-transparent dome near the atlas statue when in its close vicinity. The Heads-Up Display (HUD) provides the learner with several tools through the Personal Organizer (image in the bottom left of the screen), and each tool is appropriately labelled. The current tools are: To support the realization of virtual meetings, the Lounge provides several rooms where people may meet and use dedicated spaces for presentations and sharing of documents. For navigation in the Lounge, the leaner uses the arrow keys with the mouse for directing the direction of where the learner's avatar looks at. |
